Yes, that's a good deal. Do the fuel lines first.

Looks solid. How much? You can still get new tank straps - van-cafe;com probably has them.

So recently while on vacation, my buddy saw a local ad for an estate auction featuring an 86 Syncro tin top (just one pic of it in the ad).... and now we own it...bought it sight unseen online...total of 67 bids when the timer ran out. It runs, drives, and stops. The body seems like it is in pretty good shape for being 30 years old. Just starting out with it so we added 15 inch SA wheels and Kumhos. Also just popped for a set of RMW bumpers. She will need some body work as the step in each of the front doors is rusted and there is some rust on the underside. The van is in Sister Bay, WI and we need to find someone to do the body work before moving on to engine, suspension, and brakes. Fuel tank straps need immediate attention. Will be changing out fuel lines next week. Could use any advice on dealing with the fuel tank. Drained the fuel and bought a tune up kit. Should be getting down to business with her in the very near future. First timer here on the the ORG. Nice to see so many dedicated to saving the old hardware. Put some pics up on PhotoBucket. What do you think? Did we win or lose?
